On Steam I don't try to earn all the achievements but I do go out of my way to get achievements with low percentages. The Platinum I think I'm most proud of is for the rhythm game Thumper - I haven't checked in years, but I remember when I first earned it when I got my PSVR it was by far the rarest trophy on TrueTrophies I had earned. I always try to get the platinum trophies on my PS4 games - ever since I made the switch over from my 360 to my PS4 a little over 5 years ago I've earned 39 (soon to be 40) platinums and reached level 20 (and if I hadn't screwed up on The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne my count would be higher). Provided I didn't screw anything up to lock myself out of the platinum AND as long as there aren't any bs multiplayer trophies, yes. The only reason I went after these ones was because I was very close and they weren't insanely difficult to get. I don't have a lot of them but I started to realize that I became obsessed with trying to get them to the point where I couldn't enjoy the game because I was worried about getting/missing trophies or I was burning myself out on a game chasing them down and quitting the game early. This got me thinking about trophy/achievement hunting, what is everyone's opinion on them? For me they seemed kind of fun to chase at first. I couldn't get it before and I hate PvP, I noticed they changed it so all I had to do was talk to Xur, score! I managed to 100% Ghost of Tsushima(great game), and got the final 5 trophies I was missing in Assassin's Creed Odyssey after about a year and a half. Destiny 2, was missing the trophy for Trails of Osiris win for ages. I went through some of my backlog of games this weekend and managed to get 3 Platinum Trophies. Not to be confused with the gaming YouTube channel which is fun to watch.
